KRAIBURG Rubber (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. officially celebrated the opening of its Phase III expansion and the 20th anniversary of its establishment in Suzhou Industrial Park on June 5, 2026. Government representatives, Chinese and international guests, customers, business partners, shareholder representatives, Group management, and employees gathered at the ceremony to mark a new stage in the company’s localized development in China.
Daniela Schmidt-Kuttner, Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of the KRAIBURG Group, reviewed the company’s 20-year development journey in Suzhou in her speech. Franz Hinterecker, CEO of the KRAIBURG Group, together with shareholder representatives and the local management team, joined the ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the official opening of the Phase III production base. Jacques Swalen, General Manager of KRAIBURG Rubber (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., introduced the layout of the Phase III expansion and the company’s future development direction.
KRAIBURG Rubber (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. was established in Suzhou Industrial Park in 2005 and began operations in 2006. Over the past two decades, the company has built on German rubber technology, strict quality management, and localized service capabilities to provide high-quality customized rubber compound solutions for customers in China and across Asia-Pacific. Its application markets include automotive, industrial, construction, and other non-tire rubber applications.
The Phase III expansion represents an important investment by the KRAIBURG Group in the Chinese market and forms part of the company’s long-term development plan. The project adds advanced mixing capacity, thin sheet calendering and cutting capabilities, and an automated warehouse system for raw materials and finished goods. These investments are designed to improve production flexibility, material handling efficiency, supply reliability, and responsiveness to increasingly complex technical requirements.
With the new facilities now in operation, KRAIBURG Rubber Suzhou will further strengthen its manufacturing and service capabilities for high-performance specialty rubber materials, better supporting customers in new energy vehicles, advanced equipment manufacturing, industrial applications, and other non-tire rubber sectors.
